Presentation: 8 March 2011.
Choreographer: Zoltán Varga, Co-choreographer: Beáta Lőrincz
Why the title? When the young collector embarked on his first journey, he set himself the goal of discovering all the treasures of the Carpathian Basin, the diversity that sparkles like flowers. Then, as time went by, he realised that a human life was too short for such a task. This is how what started as part of his life can become his whole being, his world. It became his world.

The show is a summary selection of Zoltán Varga's four decades of choreographic work, and as a result it encompasses a variety of dances, from authentic folk dance to folk-inspired independent dance. It could even be considered a creative confession.

" ... I succeed in making good things when I have a lasting experience of meeting people when I collect them." (Zoltán Varga)

Without chronology, the dances presented follow the choreographer's collecting career: material from Moldavia, Gyimes, Küküllő, Mezőség, Upland, West Hungary and Slavonia.

" ... poetry has always prompted me to visualize ..." (Zoltán Varga)

The two choreographies in the selection are inspired by the poetry of Attila József. The rhythm of the poems inspired his music, inspiring a liberated movement organised as a dance.

But dance and music are not to be talked about, they are to be cultivated or enjoyed by hearing and seeing.
