Beyond our performances in Miercurea Ciuc and at major events in the country and abroad we pay attention to small Hungarian communities as well, and our company regularly visits Hungarian settlements in the diaspora as well. The Harghita Ensemble is one of the initiators and organizers of the Heritage – folk music and dance assembly of Mezőség, which became along the years an occasion of great mark for the local people, a vitalizing event for their communities.
Introduction
The Harghita National Szekler Folk Ensemble was born in the most Eastern region of Transylvania, in Miercurea Ciuc.
